Lloyiso Joins Tamia for Mzansi Tour

South African singer Lloyiso has officially joined Canadian singer, Tamia, on her hit tour of Mzansi.

The “Seasons” hitmaker – whose birth name is Loyiso Gijana – shared the good news via Twitter on Monday, 3 July, that he will be joining the international R&B singer on stage. “Can’t wait to see you guys!” he said with a heart emoji and a crying emoji while sharing a picture of the tour dates.

Fans of the pair didn’t need to wait long as their first performance at Grand Arena, in Cape Town, Western Cape took place the next day on Tuesday, 4 July. Tweeps have been raving about the performance, sharing videos of the packed stadium, with some even mentioning that they wished she had performed for longer.

“I only found out yesterday that @Lloyiso_rsa was opening for Tamia so I definitely got 2 shows for 1 [sic],” user @itmightbekhay tweeted on Wednesday, 5 July.

The rest of South Africa still has time to practise their line-dance moves, as three more shows are expected to take place. The two will be jet-setting off to Durban, KwaZulu Natal to perform at the International Convention Centre on Friday, 7 July, before they head to Pretoria, Gauteng the next day for their two final shows at the SunBet Arena at Time Square.
